Digital format: Minimum of 300 dpi.
Material closing date is the 1st of the month preceding cover date of publication. Artwork requiring processing or design work must be received one week earlier than regular material closing date.
We use Macintosh platforms only. Any files sent must be compatible with our systems. Please include all art files, such as TIFF and/or EPS. Photoshop files should be saved as TIFF or EPS, not JPEG. PDF files are preferred over all. Please include all screen AND printer fonts used.
Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Backroads’ Art Department can create an ad for you. If you don’t have the capabilities to make a camera-ready piece, give us your information along with any original artwork (logos, photos, etc.) and we’ll do the rest. Deadline for in-house ad work is the 1st of the month. There is no additional charge for ads created for use exclusively in Backroads.
Advertiser and advertising agencies assume liability for all content (including text and illustrations) of advertisements printed; they also assume responsibility for all claims arising against any expense or loss suffered by reason of such claims. Submission of an insertion constitutes an acceptance of our rate card terms.
Acceptance of advertising is at publisher’s discretion. All copy and art is subject to publisher’s approval. Cancellations or changes in orders are not accepted after material closing dates.
Published rates are non-commissionable and net due within 30 days of invoice date. First issue advertising for new accounts is due and payable before the first ad runs.
Advertisers using different number of ads than contracted for within their contract period will be short rated or credited. Signed contract necessary for all insertions.
